About Us
JD Excavating, Inc. is a family owned business. Jim and Dianna Beardsley started the company together as Jim's Bobcat Service in 1989. The company was incorporated as JD Excavating in 1998 and has grown to what it is today.
Jim has extensive excavating experience, dating back to 1975. He handles all of the estimating and oversees all jobs. Dianna's background is in administration and organization. She oversees all administrative duties and handles the scheduling. Both Jim and Dianna "dig" the challenges of running their own business.
In 2002, their daughter Cassie, joined the company full-time assisting with administrative duties and office management. In 2005, their son-in-law Jamie, joined the company full-time assisting with field supervision. Jim and Dianna hope to one day pass their experiences on, and have their grandchildren work for the company as well.
JD Excavating, Inc. is a full-service residential and commercial excavating company serving the entire metro area. They are members of the Better Business Bureau and Builders Association of the Twin Cities. Integrity and Service are extremely important to the staff of JD Excavating, and they strive to meet the needs of their customers.
